Celebrating African Arts & Artists
Artists are creators. We call them Messengers. Through their carvings, paintings, sculptors, designs, writings, poetry, music, characters, photography, and inventions, they reach into places few have been and bring back the gifts that stimulate our imagination, keep our feet dancing and our hearts racing. Messengers© is a 30-minute Television program that promotes African arts and its artists and helps give recognition and a platform to the creators and curators of African culture and history.
Our Challenge is to provide a platform that will bridge that gap between artists, their works and their audience. Real talents exist with few places and means to showcase their talents. Sadly some will only dream of recognition but never experience it. The question remains, how can we better appreciate and cultivate African arts and artists?
This high-impact and engaging television series is designed for the lovers of the many art forms and cuts across racial and ethnic divides - African and non-African alike.
