OYIZA ADABA - Founder/CEO

Ms. Oyiza Adaba holds a BA in Theater Arts and Media Studies. She has worked with the Corporate Marketing, Key Markets and Public Relations Teams for MultiChoice Nigeria and Africa in both Lagos and Johannesburg. In the U.S, she worked as International Correspondent for Africa Independent Television’s (AIT) U.S. Bureau and remains a regular contributor to various publications, radio and television programs focused on the people and issues of Africa. Ms. Adaba’s drive to create AFRICA-RELATED was a vision that would to enrich the world’s knowledge about Africa and Africans through various media programs and projects. She is the host and executive producer and host of Messengers©.

 

MIAMAH RICHARDS - Chief Operating Officer USA

Ms. Miamah Richards obtained her Masters (MA) in International Relations from the City University of New York and has worked in the financial services sector, with extensive work experience with multinationals such as J.P Morgan. She also holds extensive knowledge of entertainment, private and non-governmental sectors in both Africa and the United States. A national of Liberia, at AFRICA-RELATED, Ms. Richards is responsible for U.S operations as well as identifying and defining attractive business and alliance opportunities, while providing short, mid and long term financial road map for the growth of the organization.

 

DIONNE JEMIDE - Chief Operating Officer Nigeria

Mrs. Dionne Jemide has gained extensive work experience in Administration and Public Relations and has served as Director of PR for Cakes by Tosan & La Saison Café in Lagos Nigeria. At AFRICA-RELATED, Mrs. Jemide is responsible for the Nigeria arm of the company and oversees its daily operations. She is an accomplished scriptwriter and contributes to several journals and publications. She also serves as writer and Assistant Producer for the TV series Messengers© - an AFRICA-RELATED Production and holds a Degree in Zoology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

 

RUTH ADIVE-BALDWIN - Business Development 

Ruth Adive-Baldwin has been involved in various multinational business projects since 1994.  She started as the personal assistant to the director and worked her way up to becoming interim head of Ceragro-Engr. Ltd - then a major import/export corporation in Jos, Nigeria before traveling to the U.S. to attend university.  While pursuing a degree in International Business in Pennsylvania, Ms. Adive-Baldwin worked for Zanzibar Blue- a premier jazz restaurant in Philadelphia- where she learned the intricacies of working with and coordinating events for world renowned musicians.  

In 2000, Ms. Adive-Baldwin was accepted into the prestigious International Business Institute which not only gave her access to the upper echelons of such notable companies as Nokia, Ikea, Daimler-Chrysler, and Nestle to name a few, but also allowed her to travel extensively throughout Europe.  After graduating with honors from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a double major in International Business and Marketing, Ruth relocated to southern California where she joined the executive team of Inamed Corporation.  However, after Inamed merged with Allergan, Inc. in a $3.2 billion deal in 2006 , Ms. Adive-Baldwin decided to return to Philadelphia from where she joined the Africa-Related professional team. She speaks Hausa, French and Arabic.
